Data Collection Manuals and Books
Autism: A Montessori Approach Curriculum Manuals
These manuals are the way to track data for children who are doing the Montessori ABA therapy program founded by Michelle Lane-Barmapov. Each manual is sold separately and has the direct aims/indirect aims of each Montessori activity, along with a place to fill out the prompt levels, reinforcement criteria, generalization ideas as well as starting and end dates. The purpose of these manuals is to keep all team members (teachers, therapists, parents etc.) up to date on how the child is progressing.
Look inside
The manuals above were created to track the progress of the children who attended the Toronto Montessori School for Autism (later The Lane Montessori School for Autism). This used to be a 400-page tracking manual. Due to demand, Michelle created 5 separate manuals instead to support schools, parents and therapists, interested in applying the Montessori ABA method. The School ran from 2003-2010.
For training and additional resources on this method, check the Montessori Medical Partnership for Inclusion website for details.
